DataBody shows advertising to users on the free plan. Ads are served through Google AdMob, which also runs mediation: other advertising networks may compete to fill an ad slot. This page lists the networks currently taking part. We keep it separate from our Privacy Policy so that it stays accurate as the list changes.
Paid subscribers see no advertising at all.
| Network | Role | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Ad serving and mediation | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Meta Audience Network | Mediation partner | facebook.com/privacy/policy |
Advertising partners receive information needed to request and measure an ad — such as an advertising identifier, device and app information, and approximate location derived from your IP address. They do not receive the health and fitness information you record in DataBody. We do not send health values to any advertising provider, and we do not build advertising audiences from health-related activity.
Where consent is required, you choose what these partners may do with your data before any ad is requested. You can change that choice at any time from Settings → Privacy options in the app. On iOS you can also change app tracking permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and on Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
Subscribing to DataBody Premium removes advertising entirely.
